Today, the world observes the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes Against Journalists. This day means a lot to me because writing and journalism are a big part of who I am.

I started working as a reporter when I was a high-school student in my hometown Usta Muhammad, Balochistan. Later, I worked in the newsroom at the provincial headquarters in Quetta, beginning as a proofreader and then as a sub-editor on the news desk. I also wrote for local and national newspapers. Journalism was never just a job for me. It was purpose and passion.

In 2012, before this whole AI and GPT era began, I wrote and published my first travel book about Bangladesh. It was one of the meaningful moments of my early writing journey. That book reminded me how words can connect people across places and cultures, even when they come from small towns and simple beginnings.

In August 2014, I lost my Mamu (uncle) Irshad Mastoi, who was killed in his office while doing his journalism duties. A day before his death, he was compiling a list of journalists who had been killed or gone missing while working. That moment changed everything for me. I decided to move away from journalism as a profession, but I could never stop writing. Writing is part of who I am. It lives in my blood and my soul.

That is what Khalidgraphy is built on. It is not about news or politics. It is about experiences, lessons, and simple ideas that can help others grow. I now write about freelancing, online work, digital income, marketing and the mindset needed to grow in this changing world.

This newsletter is not about journalism or political stories. It is about the real experiences of my life, mostly after 2014, and some even before that. I share what I have learned about making money and life better through practical lessons, smart money habits, personal growth, and simple ways to create steady income. Everything here is based on real work and real people, not theories or trends.

The purpose of Khalidgraphy is simple. To share, to connect, and to keep learning together. I believe that knowledge grows when shared and that information is free with the right to copy.
